How Does the Integration Work?
Rendr's scanning technology makes it easy to capture essential project measurements without needing existing floorplans. You can then export these measurements, along with notes and photos, directly into Buildxact to create detailed estimates.
To connect your RENDR and Buildxact accounts, follow these steps:
Open the RENDR app.
Navigate to the Integrations page.
Find the Buildxact tile.
Click "Connect to Buildxact".
Enter your Buildxact login details to connect.
Click "Accept" to authorize the connection.
Once connected, the Buildxact tile in RENDR will indicate that the integration is active.
Using RENDR Data in Buildxact
After scanning a space in the RENDR app, you can transfer the data to your Buildxact project. To view your scanned areas in RENDR, click "Spaces" in the left-hand menu and select the space you want to create an estimate for. RENDR will show the floorplan and measurements. Click the "Buildxact Estimate" button to transfer these details into Buildxact.
In Buildxact, the measurements from RENDR will appear under Estimates > Plans & Takeoffs. You can then use these measurements to build out your estimate costings. To incorporate a RENDR measurement into a line item in your Estimate Costings, click on the Estimate Costings tab, select a relevant category, click the calculator button, select the desired measurement, and click the green '=' (equals) symbol. The measurement will then appear in your estimate costings line item.
The integration syncs your RENDR spaces to your Buildxact projects, giving you instant access to parameters for your estimate, usable from both your calculator and your takeoff tool.
