Overview
With RENDR 2.0.29, you can now mark up photos directly inside the app—making it easier than ever to document site conditions, communicate details, and capture critical notes during your initial visit.
This is especially useful for teams who need to thoroughly document a space before design, estimating, or handoff.
How to Use Photo Markup
1. Scan the space
Start your workflow as usual by scanning the space with RENDR.
2. Add photos
Capture photos during or after your scan just like you normally would.
3. Open a photo
Tap into any photo to view it.
4. Tap the Markup icon
In the top left corner, you’ll now see a markup icon.
Tap it to enter markup mode.
5. Annotate your photo
You’ll have access to standard markup tools, allowing you to:
✏️ Draw or sketch directly on the image
🟡 Highlight important areas
🔵 Add callouts or notes
📏 Jot down measurements
⭕ Circle areas that need attention
6. Save your markup
Once finished, your annotated photo is saved and available within the space.
Why This Matters
Photo markup turns your photos into actionable documentation, not just references.
It’s especially powerful for:
Capturing site conditions clearly on the first visit
Communicating details to team members or clients
Reducing back-and-forth and missed information
Supporting estimating, design, and scope clarity
