What is Field Notes?
Previously, documenting critical dimensions and specific project details, especially in kitchens and bathrooms, often relied on exporting PDFs and manually adding notes. Field Notes eliminates this reliance on traditional methods by providing an editable document directly within your RENDR space. It's a fantastic way to digitize a part of the remodeling process that has long depended on pencil and graph paper.
How to Use Field Notes
After scanning your space using the RENDR app, you can easily access the Field Notes feature:
Complete your scan: Ensure your space is scanned and saved in the RENDR app.
Navigate to Field Notes: From your interactive floor plan, you can tap the blue markup icon, or select the dedicated "Notes" tab within the space overview.
Create and save notes: You can now add text and draw directly on the space. These notes are saved within the space and can be edited or exported at any time.
