âł First Launch? Give It a Few Minutes
After updating to RENDR 2.1, the first time you open the app may take a little longer than usual.
During this one-time process, RENDR is migrating your account to our new storage and syncing system. Depending on how many spaces you have, this may take 2â3 minutes.
Donât worryâyour data is safe. Once the migration is complete, youâll experience the full benefits of the new system, with dramatically faster performance and a much smoother experience going forward.
đ¶ Now Works Fully Offline
One of the biggest improvements in RENDR 2.1 is offline support.
Whether youâre in a basement or anywhere with poor cell service, you can continue working with confidence.
Your scans, photos, and project data are safely stored on your device and will automatically sync once youâre back online.
That means:
No more worrying about losing photos because of a bad connection.
No more lost scans.
Keep working anywhereâeven without internet.
đŠ Automatic Archiving
To keep RENDR running as fast as possible, spaces that are more than 60 days old are automatically archived.
Donât worryâyour data is never deleted.
You can now restore archived projects and spaces yourself anytime by visiting cloud.rendr.com and navigating to Settings â Restore Center.
Restoring a project or space also restores all associated floor plans, photos, field notes, measurements, and other project data.

RENDR 2.1 FAQ
When will my spaces be archived?
Spaces that are more than 60 days old are automatically archived to help keep RENDR fast and responsive.
Will my spaces be deleted?
No. Archived spaces are never deleted. Theyâre simply moved out of the active app to improve performance.
What happens to my projects, floor plans, photos, and measurements?
Nothing changes. Everything is preserved exactly as you left it. Archiving does not affect your data.
How do I retrieve an archived space?
Just send us a message using the in-app Support chat or email [email protected] with the address or name of the space youâd like restored. Weâll unarchive it for you as quickly as possible.
Can I keep a space from being archived?
Not currently. Spaces older than 60 days are automatically archived, but they remain safe and can be restored anytime by contacting support.
Why did RENDR add archiving?
As users create more spaces, archiving older spaces helps keep the app faster, smoother, and more reliable while making sure your data stays safe and available whenever you need it.
